BELLIS DELUXE HOTEL HYGIENE MANIFESTO
At Bellis Deluxe Hotel, with the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) all around the world, we have quickly updated our cleaning and disinfection procedures and our Quality and Food Safety Management Systems processes that we have been meticulously implementing for years in order to protect the health of our guests, employees and business partners in accordance with the "Operational Matters for Covid-19 Management" guideline published by World Health Organization (WHO) for the Accommodation Industry, statements and decisions of the Scientific Board of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, National and Local health units, and opinions and suggestions of industry associations and additional measures have been started to be implemented.
At the beginning of the pandemic process, a “Coordination Board” was established under the headship of our General Coordinator, consisting of our department managers, our occupational safety expert and our workplace physician. Our Coordination Board follows the current publications closely and makes decisions quickly in line with the decisions and recommendations of the relevant institutions, ensuring that they are integrated and implemented in the processes of our hotel.
MEASURES TAKEN IN RELATION TO OUR EMPLOYEES
As Bellis Deluxe Hotel, our main priority is to provide the work environment in which our valuable employees, who add value to the services we offer to our esteemed guests, can carry out their activities in a healthy and safe manner, improve their work areas, and ensure that they continue their work under hygienic and healthy conditions. To this end, the measures taken during the outbreak process and our studies are as follows;
By training our employees about epidemics and prevention methods, it is ensured that everyone working in our facility is aware of the correct hand washing, social distance, cleaning and disinfection rules.
Our employees undergo the necessary health checks before they start to work and they are ensured to start working with the approval of the Workplace Physician.
The fever of everyone who comes to the facility is measured via digital thermometers. Our employees are informed that people with high fever, that show signs of illness cannot work, and they are instructed to not come to the workplace and apply to a health organization under the control of our workplace physician.
The vehicles that help our employees come and go to work are disinfected on a regular basis. They use our shuttle vehicles for transportation in accordance with social distancing rules. Our employees must wear masks in shuttles.
The cleaning frequency of the areas used by our employees has been increased and they are regularly disinfected using ULV devices with licensed disinfectants that do not cause harm to the environment. The number of the existing hand sanitizer units have been increased, allowing everyone working in all departments to disinfect their hands on a regular basis.
The changing room used by our employees has been renovated and the ventilation system, which works with fresh air, is equipped with hygiene equipment of high standards.
Our employees are ensured to change their uniforms frequently.
All of our employees are ensured to use the necessary protective equipment (mask, gloves, face shields, glasses, etc.) in accordance with the requirements of their work.
A regular workplace physician is employed in our hotel. The tasks to be done in case of any negative situation have been defined in our Emergency Procedures and our action plans have been prepared.
Our employees who use the hotel accommodation are ensured to stay in rooms for up to two people and the accommodation units are constantly cleaned and disinfected.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION IMPLEMENTATIONS
All our areas including our guest rooms, mini club, spa, restaurant and bars, lobby area, gym etc. are cleaned regularly in accordance with our cleaning plans.
In addition to the cleaning work, a detailed disinfection plan has been prepared, and common use areas are disinfected by our trained expert employees using disinfectants and ozone licensed by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health.
There are hand disinfectant units and ozone devices in all our areas, especially in common toilets, restaurants, lobby, and mini club.
FOOD SAFETY
Food production and presentation at our kitchens and bars that have been granted the "White Flag Food Safety Award" by Antalya Governorate and Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Antalya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry continue as usual in accordance with legal legislations and the principles of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management system.
Hygiene and food safety trainings are given to all our employees working in food production and presentation on a regular basis.
Based on the principle of ensuring food safety from farm to table in the execution of our food, beverage production and presentation services, all our processes from supplier selection to final product are operated in accordance with food safety procedures.
Food, water, surface, ice samples are regularly analyzed by accredited laboratories.
In all our food and beverage units, there are sufficient hand washing and disinfection units available for our employees to use.
At the entrances of all our Food and Beverage units, there are sufficient hand disinfection equipment available for our dear guests to use.
The necessary safe social distance is maintained at our food and beverage units.
Presentation equipment shall frequently be replaced with new ones, using more hygienic materials and equipment in our food and beverage units.
Disinfection procedures are ensured in accordance with our cleaning plans via the general cleaning of places where food and beverage consumption takes place, cleaning buffets and all other equipment and materials at the start and end of service.
Tables, chairs, high chair, etc. are cleaned and disinfected after each use.
All cups, cutlery, plates and similar materials used in our hotel are washed in our fully automatic machines without contact at temperatures recommended by the World Health Organization.
Tables are cleaned and disinfected after each use. There are disinfectant wet wipes available on tables for the use of our guests.
OUR MEASURES IN GENERAL AREAS, CLEANING AND DISINFECTION PRACTICES
We have been working 24 hours a day with our expert, trained and experienced employees for years to ensure hygiene and sanitation in order to protect the health of our valuable guests. The protection of the environment and human health in cleaning and disinfection processes is our number one priority, and cleaning products and disinfectants licensed by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health are used at all units of our hotel. Our cleaning and disinfection applications are as follows;
The cleaning of surfaces that are constantly contacted such as door handles, handrails, elevators, elevator buttons, sinks, faucets, urinals and toilets at all general areas and toilets is done meticulously as always and after they are cleaned with water and detergent, they are disinfected using proper surface disinfectants.
There are hand disinfecting units available at all of our general areas, toilets and at every point where they are needed and they are checked regularly.
All our toilets are disinfected with ozone devices.
Our cleaning and disinfection applications are controlled using the prepared checklists.
Our elevators are arranged according to social distancing rules. Elevator instructions are placed in visible places.
Seating groups in all common areas and public spaces have been rearranged in accordance with the safe social distancing rules.
All of our common areas are ventilated naturally.
OUR CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT PROCESSES
It is very important for us that you, our dear guests, are welcomed and sent off safely in accordance with the hygiene requirements. The measures we have taken for this purpose are as follows;
Your suitcases are brought to your room after the disinfection process is done by our trained staff who are experts in the field.
All our guests allowed to enter our hotel after their fever is measured.
There is hand disinfectant available in our lobby area for our dear guests to disinfect your hands. Hygiene measures taken are explained at the reception for all our guests. Moreover, we share the hygiene measures we have taken with our guests on the televisions located inside the hotel.
Key cards are reused after being disinfected.
With our no-contact pos machines, payments of certain amounts are made without contacting any money.
The reception area, like all other areas, is regularly cleaned and disinfected.
All transactions that may require contact during Check-in and Check-out are duly carried out in accordance with the safe social distancing rule.
OUR GUEST ROOMS
As Bellis Deluxe Hotel, our goal now, as it has been for many years, is to offer more than just a holiday to you, our valuable guests, and to make you feel at home. For this purpose, it is our priority to provide you a clean and hygienic accommodation opportunities.
Our cleaning staff and managers wear masks and disposable gloves. Gloves are frequently changed before starting to clean a new room and when necessary.
Separate cleaning cloths are used for each room.
Cleaning materials and disinfectants recommended by the World Health Organization and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health are used for room cleaning. Our guest rooms are cleaned and disinfected in detail, including all frequently contacted surfaces such as door handles, telephones, air conditioning controls, television controls, and light switches.
Our rooms are ventilated for at least 1 hour and all surfaces are disinfected by fogging with ULV system.
Room textiles and towels are washed at temperatures specified in the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health.
Amenities prepared for daily use by our guests are disinfected before being placed.
Our minibar products are stored in a safe environment and served to our rooms after disinfection process.
MINI CLUB AND PLAYGROUNDS
It is very important for us that our children spend their holidays safely. Our mini club continues its activities with our trained and expert employees on child development.
Our playground is located in the mini club and has a water repellant antibacterial area.
In order to maintain a safe social distance, guests are accepted by reservation to our mini club.
Our little guests are let in to our mini club after their fever is measured.
Activities are carried out with small groups in accordance with the social distancing rule.
Every child guest who comes to our mini club is given hand washing training by our expert employees and our children are ensured to disinfect their hands at the entrance.
Our cleaning employee who works at the mini club regularly ensured the regular cleaning and disinfection of the mini club.
All toys used in our mini club are disinfected before and after each use.
Frequent ventilation of the environment is provided. Contact surfaces, activity tables, door handles, and playgrounds are regularly disinfected with suitable disinfectants that do not cause harm to health.
Our mini club has an Ozone device and environment disinfection is regularly carried out using ozone.
POOL, BEACH, WATER MANAGEMENT AND ENTERTAINMENT ACTIVITIES
As Bellis Deluxe Hotel, our pools are cleaned and disinfected according to legal regulations in accordance with our water safety procedure. Our pool and water samples are analyzed regularly by the accredited laboratory authorized by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, our hotel offers reliable and hygienic swimming facilities to our valuable guests with our “Blue Flag” certified beach.
In addition to our cleaning and disinfection practices, our additional measures that are required for this process are as follows;
The distance between the sunbeds has been rearranged in accordance with the safe social distancing rule.
Our pool control frequency has been increased.
All sunbeds, mats, coffee tables and similar equipment located at swimming areas are cleaned and disinfected daily and after use.
Sports and entertainment activities in the pools will be conducted in accordance with the safe social distancing rule.
Entertainment activities continue in accordance with the social distancing rule.
SPA, SPORTS AND FITNESS SERVICES
In accordance with the capacity plans prepared in order to maintain safe social distance, guests are let in to the fitness center and spa center via reservation.
As in all our areas, there are plenty of hand disinfectant units in the areas where we offer Spa, Fitness and sports services.
All sports equipment, machinery and equipment in our fitness room are arranged according to safe social distancing rules and disinfection procedures are performed after each use.
The ventilation of our fitness center is done with 100% fresh air.
Health checks are periodically carried out for employees who provide care in the Turkish bath, sauna and massage areas. Our employees are provided with the necessary training about hygiene before starting work.
The Turkish bath, sauna and massage areas are cleaned and disinfected in accordance with our cleaning and disinfection plans.
Our employees who work in Turkish bath, sauna and massage areas disinfect their hands before and after application and carry out their work in dry areas while wearing masks.
The usage capacity for our Sauna, Turkish bath and Steam rooms is arranged in accordance with safe social distance.
Common areas such as changing rooms, showers, toilets and lockers are disinfected on a regular basis.
All materials such as towels, bathrobes, and peshtamals are washed at temperatures specified in the Guidelines of the World Health Organization and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health.
GENERAL INFORMATION
As Bellis Deluxe Hotel, we continue our works in accordance with the safe Tourism Certification Criteria determined by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During the certification process we have executed with TÜV SÜD, the practices carried out by our facility are controlled by expert supervisors and secret guest application.
24-hour Paramedics are employed in our facility. If needed, we can help you contact your Doctor in a short while. Our facility's location is central and easy transportation is provided to hospitals where you can receive all kinds of Health Services.
The novel coronavirus (Covid-19) infection is transmitted by droplets created during coughing and sneezing, and other people touching their mouth, nose, or eye mucosa after contact with the surfaces that are contaminated by these droplets. Therefore, it is very important to ensure adequate social distance and to clean and disinfect contact surfaces to prevent transmission of the disease.
The ways of protection against the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and information about the implementations carried out are explained to our guests on information (info TV) televisions in our hotel and the QR code application.
